Meet Our Owners
Jamie Altshule, the founder of Academic Success, is a graduate of Westlake School for Girls in Los Angeles and the University of Colorado. She has worked as a full-time teacher here in Los Angeles and overseas, as a private academic tutor, a home school teacher and a curriculum advisor.

Eric Altshule, co-owner of Academic Success, is a graduate of Harvard High School for Boys in Los Angeles and Georgetown University. Eric spent a decade working on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, focusing on education policy and another decade working in international trade before joining his sister, Jamie, at Academic Success.

Meet Our Coaches
Selecting an Academic Success coach is the most critical component of the service we offer. We look for two essential qualities: a mastery of the academic subject matter coupled with a personality that is relatable, energetic and compassionate. Academic Success coaches demystify the material and present complex concepts in understandable language. In addition, Academic Success coaches are engaging and inspire students to perform their best. Our coaches include aerospace engineers, teachers, young professors, published authors, biomedical researchers and post-graduate doctoral candidates.
